Epson Stylus CX3810 Review
This series of printer was an all in one printer, which maintain printing, copying, and scanning functions inside. Epson stylus cx3810 review was made to be an output device where users can get the whole great thing easy with the interface and installation. Though this printer is sort of great, but the production is no longer running, and has been being replaced with Epson Stylus NX415 All in One printer.

This printer used drop on demand Micro Piezo ink jet printing technology, which optimized for plain paper printing. This had 90 nozzles monochrome head and 29 nozzles per color head configuration, with 4 ink palette; yellow, cyan, magenta, and black. The ink type itself was DURABrite Ultra Inks, which served great output results. The maximum resolution this epson stylus cx3810 ink cartridges could handle was about 5760 dpi x 1440 dpi optimized, with 4 picoliters minimum droplet ink size.

For printing and copying, this printer takes up to 18 pages per minute monochrome and 9 pages per minute color, not too fast nor slow for its series of stylus Epson’s printer driver.
For its scanner, this printer used color flatbed scanner type, with Contact Image Sensor (CIS) as its photoelectric device. For the resolution, it was 600 dpi optical, 600 dpi x 1200 dpi hardware, and 5100 dpi x 14040 dpi interpolated maximum, which means that this printer was not on the same line as the average stylus series printer. The bit depth itself takes 48 bit for monochrome.

On handling paper, this printer could handle up to 8.5 in single sheet, with maximum printable area up to 8.5’’ x 44’’. This also could handle up to 100 sheets input paper tray, as heavy as 20 lb per 15 envelopes, with the maximum thickness for each paper over 0.27 mm only Epson Perfection V750-M Pro Scanner Driver.
The copy quality for standalone color copier, it was draft paper, both plain and photo paper. The size is up to A4 only, with fit to page and 100% as the main features.

To use this printer, users could get through USB 2.0 compatible only, no Wireless connectivity were delivered. It was an old printer, that’s why only Windows XP or below that can use this printer. But, the rated voltage was sort of low, where it takes only 100 V to 120 V AC, below the average which is up to 240 V AC. The frequency, still the same as others, around 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The power consumption this printer used are around 10 W on standalone copying under ISO 10561.
Physically, this printer was rather small, only 16.9’’ x 13.6’’ x 6.8’’, with silver and lighter gray for its optional colors. Such a pity knowing that Epson gives no upgrade to this printer and replaced it to a newer one.
